How to Apply
The Philip L. Graham Fund follows a two-step application process. Organizations interested in applying for funding from the Philip L. Graham Fund must first submit a letter of inquiry (LOI) through our online application system prior to one of three deadlines each year. Before submitting an LOI, applicants should review the Fund’s Interest Areas, Eligibility, and Frequently Asked Questions webpages to ensure the organization and the request fit within the Fund’s giving priorities. Please keep in mind that while consideration is occasionally given to other requests, the Fund remains committed to primarily funding requests for special, one-time needs of organizations (e.g., equipment and capital needs) rather than general operating, staffing or program support. Multiyear grants are awarded rarely.
The Fund is currently accepting letters of inquiry. Applications will be accepted until 5:30 p.m. EDT on July 8, 2013.
If you are entering a new request, please click on the link below to begin the application process. New users will be asked to create an online account using an email address and password. Please be sure to keep a record of the email address and password that is used to create the account as this information will be needed to access the in-process application. Applications are associated with one and only one account. Once the account is created you will be directed to the application form.
