Pinkie D. Mayfield
Pinkie Dent Mayfield is assistant treasurer of Graham Holdings Company, a position she has held since 1999. She is also vice president-corporate solutions. Mayfield joined the Company in 1998 as the corporate cash manager. Prior to joining The Washington Post Company, Mayfield was a vice president and trust officer at NationsBank (now Bank of America), where she worked in the Investment Services Division as part of the Foundations & Endowments Group. Earlier in her career she was with Prudential Securities.
Mayfield serves as an officer on the board of directors of the District of Columbia College Access Program (DC-CAP) and as a trustee of the Philip L. Graham Fund. Previously she served as a trustee of Trinity College and on the board of directors of Metropolitan Community Development Corporation, Leadership Washington (of which she is also a graduate, Class of 2001), CASA of DC and dcbaseball.org.
Mayfield graduated magna cum laude with a BA in business administration from Trinity College in Washington, DC, and received an MBA from the University of Maryland University College.
